Toucan Eco is a revolutionary new bio-cleaner that means you can stop using 80% of chemical cleaners and disposing of the single use plastic bottles they come in.

For medium to large facilities, Toucan Eco Auto takes 30 minutes to produce 20 litres of multipurpose disinfectant cleaner, which can be dispensed into bottles or buckets for eco-friendly cleaning of all surfaces. Fully automatic, users only need to refill the salt container indicated by the LED display.

Salt is dissolved in water and electrochemically activated (ECA) by applying a small electrical current using a specialised electrolysis cell. This produces hypochlorous acid, which is an effective disinfectant, and sodium hypochlorite, a cleaning agent.

Together, they create a powerful, naturally occurring disinfectant cleaner that’s safe, nontoxic, non-allergenic, environmentally friendly, reduces plastic waste and saves money. You simply make your own solution.
Stringent tests have shown it is up to 99.999% effective against germs with a very fast contact time and virtually no regrowth.

Where it’s used
The solution is great for busy environments which demand a quick, effective clean, especially where green credentials are important or harsh chemicals aren’t suitable.

We recommend the use of Ineos Hydrosoft salt granules, which is Article 95 approved for use in electrolysis in the UK.
