General Assistant
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking General Assistant to join our friendly team. If you’re organised, detail-oriented, and ready to get stuck in, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
• Open and tie flat warps (25kg) onto automatic mop machines.
• Maintain supply of ballwarps (8kg) for machines and benches.
• Set up auto machines and manual benches to correct mop size and weight as per daily rota.
• Restocking mop department with the opening of bales and restocking of flat warps onto pallets.
• Operate mop machines when required.
• Pallet assembly and wrapping
• Quality checks and stock control on yarns and sockets.
• L Seal/socket mop packing.
• Dispatch orders.
• Order labels/inserts and liaise with supervisor
• Load/unload containers (goods in/out)
• Keep the mop room clean, tidy, and organised
About You:
• Be organised and able to work independently
• Have great attention to detail
• Can meet tight deadlines
You may be cross trained in other areas to help cover holidays and sickness.

Based at Mop Room, Heybottom Mill, Oak View Road, Greenfield, OL3 7EP
40 per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00–16:50, Fri 8:00–16:40)
£12.21 per hour
31 days holidays per year (including bank holidays)
