Robert Scott's employees feature in Diggle FC Cup Final wins

Ryan Hewitt from the purchasing department and and Pete Jones from sales, starred in Diggle FCs Barlow cup final win over Kirkheaton Rovers at the Galpharm Stadium, Huddersfield.

The players and coaching staff including coach and works Director Mark Smith were transported to and from the stadium in a luxury coach sponsored by Robert Scott & Sons ltd.

Diggle's victory came in extra time when the game ended at 4-3. Kelvin McWatt, Mathew Taylor, Stephen Scoltock and Jamie Macfarlane all scored goals resulting in the team winning the cup for the second time in their history. (This is despite Ryan's own goal!!)

Also from Diggle FC's 2nd team, Paul Wood, Glyn Partington and Adam Hayes helped secure  Huddersfield FA Trophy Cup Final 1-0.

ROBERT SCOTT & SONS LIMITED ACQUIRES CONTICO MANUFACTURING LIMITED.

1ST MARCH 2012.

We are delighted to announce that with effect from 1^st March 2012 Robert Scott & Sons Ltd have acquired the total share capital of Contico Manufacturing Ltd from owners, Proventec Ltd.

Contico has been a major player in the Professional Janitorial Sector for the past 37 years and the acquisition by Robert Scott & Sons Ltd will both enhance and secure the company’s future in the supply and manufacturing of its range of added value manual cleaning products.

Both Robert Scott and Contico have longstanding reputations for quality and service standards that we feel can only be enhanced by this acquisition.

Contico Manufacturing Ltd will continue to operate from their premises in Redruth, Cornwall, under the current management team.

Our varied range of products are now showcased to their best in our new look showroom.

We have our new 'Mop Alcove' where meetings can be held sat amongst Robert Scotts most signature product; our broad range of Mops.

Across the showroom our bright and colourful colour coded products are displayed on clean white gloss units and glass shelves.

The new look room is broken up by large scale photography of our products in use.
